Ice Cream Ants is the story of a man known only as Lover, who is thrust into a surreal world of strange nightmares and deadly visions.

A phonograph needle scratches tirelessly at the end of a spinning vinyl record, endlessly looping a fragmented moment of dead air…

His enigmatic journey begins when Lover abruptly awakens from a sound slumber to discover that there is an intruder inside of his home. Heart racing, he stealthily moves into the dark living room, pistol in hand, to confront the unknown guest. In a moment of panic he fires the gun and the silhouetted stranger collapses onto the floor.

Turning on a light, Lover is horrified to discover that he has fatally wounded an identical version of himself. The dying man perfectly resembles Lover – it’s as if he is looking into a mirror. Locking eyes in terror and shock, the dreadful realization of this impossibility dawns on them both.

This paradox begins a chain reaction of events that will torment Lover and overwhelm his senses as he searches for answers by visiting old haunts and reliving dark memories from his shadowy past.
